You do not have to drive for an hour to get to the beach because Le Lac de la Cavayere
is just five minutes up the road from Palaja. Sandy beaches, loads of space to walk
and picnic, pedal boats for hire, mini-golf at the far end of the lake and the excitement
of climbing in the trees at O2 Aventure for those without a fear of heights! During
the week the beaches are rarely too crowded and you can always escape in the water
or in the hectares of park surrounding the lake. There are life guards on duty and
shallow swimming areas are roped off for kids’ safety.
